One-Day Summer Workshop
The Village Hall, Old, Northants NN6 9RD 10th June 2018 Since 2010 we have been conducting exciting one-day workshops open to the public and not just to choir members. This summer sees the opportunity to rehearse and then perform Handel ‘Israel in Egypt’. This is a great way for anyone to sing a major work from scratch under Ian Clarke’s expert guidance and, if you like the experience, you might subsequently join us for other events. The day is always absorbing, with concentrated rehearsals morning and afternoon, BYO lunch, free tea and homemade cakes before the performance and an optional, convivial supper afterwards, which everyone enjoys attending. There is even a plant stall at the event and it’s a very friendly affair all round. |
