Next One-Day Summer Workshop
The Village Hall, Old, Northants NN6 9RD 9th June 2019 Since 2010 we have been conducting exciting one-day workshops open to the public and not just to choir members. Next summer will be a ‘Walter Hussey’ day with Benjamin Britten 'Rejoice in the lamb' and Bernstein 'Chichester Psalms' This is a great way for anyone to sing great works from scratch under Ian Clarke’s expert guidance and, if you like the experience, you might subsequently join us for other events. The day is always absorbing, with concentrated rehearsals morning and afternoon, BYO lunch, free tea and homemade cakes before the performance and an optional, convivial supper afterwards, which everyone enjoys attending. There is even a plant stall at the event and it’s a very friendly affair all round. |
