One-Day Summer Workshop
The Village Hall, Old, Northants NN6 9RD 18th June 2017 Since 2010 we have been conducting exciting one-day workshops open to the public and not just to choir members. This summer sees the opportunity to rehearse and then perform Haydn ‘The Creation’. This is a great way for anyone to sing a major work from scratch under Ian Clarke’s expert guidance and, if you like the experience, you might subsequently join us for other events. The day is always absorbing, with concentrated rehearsals morning and afternoon, BYO lunch, free tea and homemade cakes before the performance and an optional, convivial supper afterwards, which everyone enjoys attending. There is even a plant stall at the event and it’s a very friendly affair all round. There are also two earlier optional rehearsals if you feel you would prefer a soft start on the day itself, and an earlybird discount if you are able to sign up by 26th May.
